Kids Non-Profit Organization is a Swedish Charity registered at the Swedish Tax Authority, VAT No SE802477928501. KNPO North America is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Kids Non-Profit Organization’s tax ID number is 46-4096928. Kids Non-Profit Organization and is in the process of registering with the Malawian Board and Section 20 of the Non-Government Organization Act.
Kids Non-Profit Organization promotes ethical and professional fund-raising and focuses on the efficient execution of its goals. Our accounting is official and published at our website with total access to all facts and figures.
OUR STORY
Kids Non-Profit Organization was formed in late 2013, but the idea occurred to me earlier, during a trip to Africa, when I realized the enormous problem with road accidents. I wanted give every child in Africa a safety reflector!
Kids Non-Profit Organization started with the goal to improve the situation for children in traffic. The Bead Initiative is a simple solution to a complex problem. By visiting schools with our basic traffic education program and handing out a small box of highly reflective beads to each child we reach their whole family.
The children create bracelets and adornments for themselves and their friends, and by wearing them at night they can be seen in the dark. We started with Malawi, one of the worst countries in the world for road accidents and traffic-related deaths.
