According to a special report published in The Washington Post previously this year, developing countries account for 50 percent of the world’s road traffic but 90 percent of the traffic fatalities. Those most likely to be victims are poor, young and male. There are efforts to make road safety a priority, but often they lack the funding needed to make real change.
The global road death toll has already reached 1.24 million per year and is on course to triple to 3.6 million per year by 2030.
Please, help Kids Non-profit Organization to promote their road safety programs and thereby reduce children's deaths and injuries from road accidents.
