The "A Ray of Light from a Friend" campaign

A Ray of Light from a Friend is our U.S. initiative for 2014. KNPO North America will distribute beads to US Schools so the children can raise awareness about road safety by creating highly reflective, fluorescent crafts such as bracelets and adornments, for themselves and their families.

Each U.S. school delivery from Kids Non-Profit Organization will require a corporate sponsor; ten kindergarten deliveries in an African country. Our simple solution would allow the children in industrialized countries to help children in Developing countries while teaching philanthropy and gratitude with Arts and Crafts.

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) rates countries’ development annually according to its Human Development Index (HDI), which includes measurements of citizens’ access to healthcare, educational attainment, and standards of living, among other factors.

During 2012, the five countries with the highest HDI rankings were Norway, Australia, United States, Netherlands and Germany, while the five countries with the lowest rankings were Niger, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mozambique, Chad, and Burkina Faso – all African countries.
